Try it: run a refresh and watch changed cells update. Illustrative data.

If your Jira export has ever…

  • Spun forever in the sidebar, or asked you to sign in again
  • Stopped refreshing on schedule without telling anyone
  • Come through with descriptions, worklogs or custom fields missing
  • Broken after an update, right before a status meeting

Built around one promise: your sheet and Jira agree

The sheet is fresh, or you know why

Hourly or daily refreshes with automatic retries. When one fails, Rowduet emails you the reason and the fix, and the sheet shows it too.

Edits go through your workflow

Change a status in a cell and Rowduet uses the matching Jira transition, so required fields and workflow rules still apply.

Nothing is overwritten silently

Before every write Rowduet re-reads the issue. If someone changed it in Jira since your last sync, you see both values and choose.

Any JQL, every field
Custom fields, descriptions, sprints, worklogs and time in status.
Your formulas stay put
Rowduet writes to its own range, so charts and pivots keep working.
A log of every change
Each write lands in a change log tab with who, what and when.
Nothing to install in Jira
Connect with your own Atlassian login. No admin needed.

Questions

Can I use Rowduet today?

Rowduet opens on the Google Workspace Marketplace soon. Leave your email and we will send the install link the day it is live, with a 14-day free trial.

Do I need a Jira admin to set it up?

No app install is needed in Jira. You connect with your own Atlassian login, and Rowduet can only see and change what your account can. Some organizations block user-connected apps; in that case an admin needs to allow Rowduet once.

Which Jira does it work with?

Jira Cloud. Jira Server and Data Center are not supported.

How does Rowduet change a status?

Through your workflow. When you change a status in the sheet, Rowduet uses the matching Jira transition, the same one you would click in Jira. If a transition needs extra fields, it tells you instead of failing quietly.

What happens if someone edits the issue in Jira at the same time?

Before every write, Rowduet re-reads the issue. If it changed in Jira since your last sync, you see both values and choose which one wins. Nothing is overwritten silently.

What data do you keep?

Sync state lives inside your spreadsheet. Our servers schedule refreshes and talk to the Jira API on your behalf; they keep your Jira sign-in, encrypted, and never a copy of your issues.

How often does it refresh?

Hourly or daily, your choice, plus a refresh any time you click. If a refresh fails, you get an email right away with the reason and the fix.

Is Rowduet made by Atlassian or Google?

No. Rowduet is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Atlassian or Google.
